THOUGHTS & PRAYERS
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Jane Hinojosa, grandmother of Maura and Joey Hutchison. Please keep former CSSE Kindergarten teacher Marian Jeter in your prayers, as she undergoes surgery and treatment for breast cancer. Please pray for Joe McDonald, great grandfather of Jack and William Frame. Continue to pray for the healing and improved health of C. Greuel, grandfather of Elliott and Teddy Hattaway. For Señora Connie Fox-Arrington, grandmother of Trinity and Thomas Martin and our beloved CSSE Spanish teacher, as she continues to recover from aggressive breast cancer treatment.

Prayer for Intercession from Fr. Stanley Rother
O faithful shepherd, Blessed Stanley Rother, as priest and missionary, you tilled the soil with your hand and invited Christ Jesus to till the soil of your soul. You became a sign of the love of Christ the Good Shepherd for your People, and blessed their lives by your ministry. You stood firm and did not run from danger, bringing glory to God and His Church in your martyrdom. Blessed Stanley, obtain from the heart of Jesus healing and full recovery for those for whom we pray, and pray for me, that I too may be a sign of Christ’s love among His people. Teach me to faithfully till the soil of this life in the reality given to me by our Father, unafraid to stay with those God has given me, no matter the cost. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

SCHOOL NEWS
Good Friday Early Dismissal
Don't forget we are dismissing at 2:30 on Good Friday! We dismiss early on this day so families can have more time together and prepare for Easter. We encourage you to join us at 8:15am for the reading of the Passion in the Church. We will also have Stations of the Cross at 1:15pm.

Morning Parking Lot Reminders
If you have a student that is enrolled in P-3, PreK, or Kindergarten you must park in the Hefner lot and walk your child in. Under no circumstances may you go through the carpool line and drop your young child off. Parents will be asked to drive around to the Hefner lot and walk their child in. This policy is to ensure the safety of our youngest students.

Meal Train for the Hutchison Family

St. Eugreen Fest 2018
Save the Date for the 2nd Annual St. EuGREEN Fest!
Sunday, April 22nd from 1-4pm
You are invited to a day of community service and celebration as St. Eugene Church and School come together to tend our earth. Bring garden tools, water bottles, work gloves, and a willing heart as we work on the NEW Parish Community Garden, plant flowers around our Marian gardens, fix up the playground, prune trees, and more. The school Green Team will also have upcycle crafts and activities for the younger kids. We are taking orders for the Green Team spirit shirts again. $15 each. We are still looking for volunteers to adopt or sponsor garden beds, and would also appreciate donations of any of the following: drinks and snacks for our workers, garden center gift cards, and garden tools (full list available by the Church Welcome Center). CSSE Exceeds Jump Rope for Heart Goal by Thousands!
The students at St. Eugene shattered the school goal of $4000.  CSSE Jump Rope for the Heart raised an amazing $10,446 dollars for the American Heart Association! 22 students raised $200 or more, and each of these has selected a teacher or administrator that they want to "pie in the face." We will have an all school assembly in the gym Friday, March 16th at 2:15pm for the whole student body to watch these 22 students give a pie to some lucky staff.

Place your order for the 2017-2018 Yearbook now! The book is a 48 page, hard bound, full color yearbook featuring photo memories you won’t want to miss! The price jumps is $25. Download the order form HERE!
ALL yearbook orders must be received NO LATER than March 16th.  We only print the number of yearbooks ordered. There will be no extra yearbooks to order later, so please get your order in now!

The St. Eugene PTO Invites You To An Easter Egg Hunt!!
After 9:30 Mass on Easter Sunday (April 1st) we will keep the celebration going with an Easter Egg Hunt on the playground! The Easter Bunny will hopefully be making an appearance too!
Please help us by bringing already stuffed plastic eggs (with stickers or candy) to the church or school office by Tuesday, March 27th to ensure we have enough for all the children. If you would like to help with this event, please contact Kim Ward at 820-6100 or [email protected].

Stations of the Cross
Please join the Saint Eugene school community for Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent (except March 23rd) at 8:15.  The remaining dates are as follows:
     -March 16th- 1st Grade
     -March 30th (Good Friday)- 7th Grade

Golf Tournament Swag Bag Donations Needed!
We are creating swag bags for the Annual Dad’s Club Golf Tournament, which will be held May 4 at the Lincoln Golf Course. We are in need of item donations to fill 85 bags. Ideas for items are hand sanitizer, sunscreen, snacks, water, golf balls, golf tees, etc. Not sure what items to donate but want to help? We are also accepting monetary donations to go toward items! CSSE Summer Camp - Enroll Today!
St. Eugene is excited to offer our annual Summer Camp! Students will enjoy fun activities like swimming, bowling, and more! Our summer program is for children 3 years of age (and potty trained) through 8th grade. Rates include am/pm snack & activities. All campers must provide their own lunch daily. The Summer camp 2018 enrollment packet and information is live on the St Eugene school website. Parish Pictorial Directory Pick Up
The parish pictorial directories have arrived! They will be available after each Mass this weekend. Following this weekend, they will be available for pick up in the parish office. If you had your picture taken, stop at the table outside Ross Hall to pick up your free directory.

St. Patricia’s Guild Meeting 
Women of the parish are invited to St. Patricia’s Guild Meeting! It will be held in the home of Pia O’Hare 3033 Willow Brook Rd.  It will be Thursday April 5th, 9:30am. Middle School LOCK IN!
