Ways to stay connected!
While our classes get to see each other on weekly Zoom calls, we want to see and hear from our friends and teachers throughout the school community! Next week we will begin weekly CSSE Family Spirit themes. We will give suggestions for families to celebrate each weekly theme with optional activities, and we would like for you send photos and videos to us documenting your spirit week activities! We will have a collaborative Google Photos album that anyone in our community can access and upload photos/videos to (we will send the link via ClassTag and post on the PTO Facebook page so it remains private). You may email media to Mrs. Hattaway or message the school Facebook page as well. This is a great way for us to all see what others in our community are doing as we shelter in place, and will help us feel connected as a school family. Feel free to share, and you may even be featured on our social media pages! Stay tuned for the ClassTag with more info!

Go to ParentsWeb to view and manage your information online. Please log in to ParentsWeb and click on the FACTS link. You may also access the terms and conditions online.
If you find that your family's financial situation has been negatively impacted by recent events, and you have concerns about your ability to pay and continue at St. Eugene, please reach out to our Tuition Director, Liz Metz, or to Mrs. Goldsworthy to see if we can make arrangements to help.
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is looking for new members!
The primary role of the SAC is to advise the principal and pastor in policymaking to guide our school community in fulfilling our mission. We especially need volunteers with marketing, education, finance, law or facilities backgrounds. To serve, you must be a practicing Catholic parishioner, 18 years or older. If you’re interested in serving the Catholic School of St. Eugene in this way, please send an email to [email protected] by May 7 introducing yourself and highlighting strengths, experience/ expertise, and any aspects of the school you are passionate about.
Spanish is being added to the K-5 Specials Distance Learning!
Sra. Almeida has been guiding and training our teachers in instructional technology for distance learning along with keeping our middle schoolers going in Spanish instruction. She is now offering resources and optional activities for our K-5 students! Please check out the Specials Distance Learning Link!
Gala Postponed
Due to the widespread presence of Covid-19, we have made the decision to postpone the St. Eugene Gala originally scheduled for April 25th. We are still working out the details, but rest assured that the Gala will go on, albeit some time in the Fall. Your gala sponsorships and event and raffle ticket purchases will still be good when we reschedule.
Yearbook Orders
Yearbooks will be delivered soon, and you don't want to miss out on this year's visual treat! Check out photos of classmates, SALT, CGSAA sports, field trip, clubs, CSW, and MORE! We will have them to distribute before the end of the school year. Each yearbook is $25, but goes up to $30 each on May 1st! Place your orders now using the linked form, and we will bill your FACTS account. https://bit.ly/csseyearbook
*We did not pre-sell yearbooks at Registration Night last August. Yearbooks sales just opened this past month.
Social Media
Did you know you can view both our Instagram and school Facebook pages without joining either media platform? View our latest photos, videos and updates in your internet browser after dismissing the pushes to sign up. You won't be able to comment or react, but this is one way to get those extra slices of school family and church life. (If you try to view on a phone, you may have a harder time dismissing the push to sign up and download the apps). You can also see our Facebook feed here on the school site at https://steugeneschool.org/socialmedia.
Stay Connected with the Church!
Our church staff is doing such a great job trying to keep us connected! You can watch a livestream mass every weekday morning at 8:15 am on St. Eugene Church's Facebook page. Sunday morning mass is also streamed live at 9:30 am and 12:00 pm Sunday on the church YouTube page.
You may have also seen the videos from the church about our parish's financial challenges. If you are able, please make sure you are donating online via Faith Direct (best), or you may mail or drop off checks and cash at the church office.
