Please keep former CSSE Kindergarten teacher Marian Jeter in your prayers, as she undergoes surgery and treatment for breast cancer. Continue to pray for the healing and improved health of C. Greuel, grandfather of Elliott and Teddy Hattaway. For Señora Connie Fox-Arrington, grandmother of Trinity and Thomas Martin and our beloved CSSE Spanish teacher, as she continues to recover from aggressive breast cancer treatment.

Prayer for Intercession from Fr. Stanley Rother
O faithful shepherd, Blessed Stanley Rother, as priest and missionary, you tilled the soil with your hand and invited Christ Jesus to till the soil of your soul. You became a sign of the love of Christ the Good Shepherd for your People, and blessed their lives by your ministry. You stood firm and did not run from danger, bringing glory to God and His Church in your martyrdom. Blessed Stanley, obtain from the heart of Jesus healing and full recovery for those for whom we pray, and pray for me, that I too may be a sign of Christ’s love among His people. Teach me to faithfully till the soil of this life in the reality given to me by our Father, unafraid to stay with those God has given me, no matter the cost. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Donut Day is back!!
Monday, April 9 is Donut Day! The 8th Grade class will be selling donuts for $1 each. This is a part of the 8th Grade fundraiser, which helps the class fund their end of the year retreat. Those students who did not buy a Donut Days punch card may still purchase a donut for $1 each. The next Donut Days will be: April 23, May 7, and May 14, so keep an eye out for future announcements!

Start your weekend early and come join us for the annual Catholic School of St. Eugene Spring Golf Tournament. Spend your morning on the links at Lincoln Park Golf Course on May 4th helping to raise money for our school and our children. PTO Meeting - Fr. Wolf and Superintendent Diane Floyd to Attend
The PTO general meeting will be Tuesday, April 10 at 6 p.m. in Ross Hall. All parents of St Eugene students are invited to attend. Father Wolf and Diane Floyd, Archdiocese of Oklahoma City Catholic Schools Office Superintendent, will be present to speak about the search for the new principal. Parents in attendance will earn one hour towards Time and Talent hours and a free dress day for their children.

The PTO would also like to remind everyone as we face a leadership transition 
• We have a great parent community.
• We have a committed faculty and staff who love and care for our students.
• We get to pray for each other openly.
• Our children aren’t in crowded classrooms.

There are many, many wonderful attributes about St. Eugene. Let’s focus on the positive!

Library Used Book Sale - Donations Welcome!
The Library will be having a Used Book Sale in May. We are accepting donations of  gently used books. If you have books you would like to donate, please send them to the library before April 20. The money will be used for new library books.

Gala - Morning at Silver Wind Stables
What kid wouldn’t want to paint a pony? Students will get to take pony rides, visit a petting zoo, and finger paint a pony on the morning of Saturday, April 14th, 2018. $25/student. Must have purchased at the Gala or by TOMORROW April 6. Sign up on the Gala page HERE!

St. EuGREEN Fest 2018: Save the Date + Shirt Orders + Time & Talent
Save the Date for the 2nd Annual St. EuGREEN Fest!
Sunday, April 22nd from 1-4pm
You are invited to a day of community service and celebration as St. Eugene Church and School come together to tend our earth. Bring garden tools, water bottles, work gloves, and a willing heart as we work on the NEW Parish Community Garden, plant flowers around our Marian gardens, fix up the playground, prune trees, and more. The school Green Team will also have upcycle crafts and activities for the younger kids, and host an eARTh Art Show. Anyone may bring a craft or art project to display, but the project must be made of materials rescued from the trash.

TIME & TALENT OPPORTUNITIES
Athletic Commission - Committee Members Needed
There are several open positions for the Athletic Commission! This group makes it possible for our kids to play CGSAA sports and ensure the kids have all the proper equipment and jerseys they need for each team. Serving on this committee counts toward Time & Talent hours. Golf Tournament Swag Bag Donations Needed!
We are creating swag bags for the Annual Dad’s Club Golf Tournament, which will be held May 4 at the Lincoln Golf Course. We are in need of item donations to fill 85 bags. Ideas for items are:
- snacks (protein/granola bars, or something easy to eat on the course)
- bottles of water or small bottles of Gatorade
- hand sanitizer
- sunscreen
- golf balls
- golf tees
You are welcome to include a company logo with your items to promote your business!

Time and Talent Reminder

CSSE Summer Camp - Enroll Today!
St. Eugene is excited to offer our annual Summer Camp! Students will enjoy fun activities like swimming, bowling, and more! Our summer program is for children 3 years of age (and potty trained) through 8th grade. Rates include am/pm snack & activities. There will be a Come and See Middle School Youth Group meeting for next year's 6th graders on Tuesday, May 15. This was so well received last year and everyone is looking forward to it again this year. Plan on picking up your 5th grader from the youth room at 4:45 that day. There will be food, snacks, and drinks along with prayer and social time.
