PTO: School Supplies to the Rescue!
Parents, don't spend your summer going from store to store trying to find all those school supplies!  We have partnered with 1st Day School Supplies and in just a few clicks, you can have your child's school supplies taken care of and that item checked off your list! As you are ordering your child's school supply kit, make sure to look at the bottom of the list, because there may be a few extra items that are not included in the kit. Just remember that this is also a PTO fundraiser, so a portion of what you are spending will come back to the school and will help PTO provide fun activities for the kids. FIRST Lego League STEM Club - Pre-Registration and Parent Volunteers Needed
Is your child interested in science, technology, engineering and/or math (STEM)? Do they love building things with Legos and blocks? The program is run by FIRST which has FIRST Lego League Jr. (grades K-3rd) and FIRST Lego League (grades 4th-8th) it is just $20 to be a part of the fun. Want to help coach a FIRST Lego League team? Coaching is very rewarding and not as hard as you might think. FIRST creates a coach's guide that walks you through each step of the meeting. It is structured around 12 one hour sessions. Coaches can pick the time and day of the week they meet. Contact Bob to learn more about volunteering as a coach.
