Jan. 29th - Feb. 4th

Catholic Schools Week is a celebration of Catholic education and the people who make it possible! Catholic Schools Week 2023 is Sunday, January 29th through February 4th. We will need some volunteers to help with a couple of projects during the week. See the CSW Volunteer Sign Up, and let us know if you can help.

Here is a quick list of dress up days and activities so you can plan ahead! 

• Canned Food Drive - We will be collecting canned food on Monday, January 30th to donate to local food pantries right here in the area around The Village. Bring items and place outside the school library in the boxes provided. If you would like to help deliver to BritVil and local Pine Pantries on Tuesday morning, please sign up!
• Pennies for the Playground - You may have seen the big glass jar on the altar at weekend mass. That is Father Jim’s collection for Pennies for the Playground! We are raising money  to complete the early childhood playground to go with our future new early childhood center. We also need to refurbish our existing playground. During Catholic Schools Week, we will have collection jugs at the school entrances. A donor has agreed to match the first $100 we collect at school that week, so look under the couch cushions for those dollars and cents! • Community Outreach Goodie Baskets - To celebrate our local community (neighbors, Village PD, Fire, etc), we are collecting items to deliver in goodie baskets. If you would like to contribute items, please sign up. We also need a group of parents/families willing to help assemble and deliver baskets on Monday. Slots available on the link. Thank you!
• Help with Sunday Breakfast! - The weekend of January 28th/29th all school families are encouraged to attend one of our weekend Masses to celebrate the liturgy together for Catholic Schools Week. As a part of the celebration, we encourage our families to come to the breakfast after Mass on January 29th. We would also need school parents/older students to sign up to provide items and to help serve.
