Please pray for Señora Connie Fox-Arrington, grandmother of Trinity and Thomas Martin and our beloved CSSE Spanish teacher, who is going through aggressive breast cancer treatment starting this week. Please also continue to pray for CSSE alum Martin Horn, uncle of Rebecca and Joseph Horn and son of parishioner Pat Horn, who was badly injured in a surfing accident off the coast of North Carolina. Bedlam Free Dress Day Next Week – Sign Up Today! 
If you purchased the Bedlam Free Dress for from the 2017 Gala, you may wear your Sooner or Cowboy gear to school today! Team Hats, jeans and team athletic clothing are allowed. 
Didn’t attend the Gala? No problem! If you have not yet signed up for Bedlam Free Dress Day and your child wants to participate, there is still time! Visit the  Gala Sign-Up Parties webpage, fill out the form, and submit your payment, all online! 

BoxTop Blitz Deadline Next Week! 
Thanks to all who have already turned in their BoxTops! We have had a great response so far, but please keep them coming! The deadline for the fall drive is Nov 1, so please have your student turn theirs in by that date! 

Required Coach Training 
The next PLACT certification workshop will be November 14 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Pastorial center. Please contact Keiffer to register at [email protected]. Any parent that wants to coach any sport must be PLACT certified. 

Free Dress Day, Bedlam Day and Spirit Day Info! 
Oct. 30 - Free Dress Day for students that sold at least 2 raffle tickets for the auction. 
Nov. 3 - Gala Bedlam Free Dress Day for students whose parents donated and signed them up for this gala event. You can still sign up  HERE! 
Nov. 10 - Spirit Day for All! Students can wear St. Eugene gear. Its also Veterans' Day, so they may also wear patriotic clothes!

PTO General Meeting Lunch n' Learn 
Mon, Nov. 13, 12:00pm in the School Library, Jordan Solorzano, law enforcement officer and St. Eugene parent, will talk about children and internet safety. Feel free to bring your lunch.

Parents, There are still spots remaining for some of our Sign-Up Parties! To register for a Sign-Up Party, go to the Sign-Up Parties Registration link on our website StEugeneGala.com or  CLICK HERE for details about each party. You will be asked for each child's name on the 2nd page of the registration.

Special Halloween Youth Group Meeting 
Middle School Youth Group will meet on Tuesday Oct. 31st from 3:00 - 4:45. Pizza, drinks, and snacks will be served. Come learn what the Church says about ghosts, saints, and souls. COSTUMES OPTIONAL. See you Tuesday, if you dare!

The St. Eugene Church Welcome Team has openings that only people with your gifts can fill! 
How it works:

• Come to the Mass you regularly attend about 15 minutes early
• Put on a Welcome Lanyard (See Design Below)
• Reach out to visitors at our NEW Welcome Center outside of Ross Hall
• During Mass position yourselves around the church. (Don’t sit next to another Team member unless they’re your family)
• Families can serve together!

After Mass, return to the Welcome Center and be available for visitors/newcomers and distribute information, maps, or registration forms. 
We need 6 Team Members for each Mass.

Come Shop the St. Eugene Vendor and Craft Fair! 
You are cordially invited to the St. Eugene Vendor and Craft Fair on Saturday, November 11th, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Shop for that custom gift, or treat yourself, choosing from among more than twenty vendors and crafters, set up in Ross Hall. The youth group members will offer food, drinks, and snacks for sale. All proceeds from the event benefit St. Eugene Youth Group 
Outreach Ministries.

Howdy Partners! Scholastic Book Fair Heading to Town!
All For Books Coin Challenge

We are collecting money to purchase books from the Book Fair. These books will be sent to a Catholic School damaged by Hurricane Harvey. Scholastic will match our donations and send books to their chosen charity.

Round Up Friday, November 3: all coins and currency 
Coins will be counted daily. The winning class will receive a Free Dress Day on November 18!

St. Patricia’s Guild Meeting 
Women of the parish are invited to St. Patricia’s Altar Society Guild meeting! It will be held Thurs, Nov. 2 at 9:30am at the home of Priscilla Chastain, 12532 Deep Wood Creek Drive, OKC, OK 73142. This meeting will be our annual 'Make-It, Bake-It, Fake-It" silent auction fundraiser. Please bring an item for the auction and a plate of finger food to share. Prizes will be given to Bunko game winners! Contact Priscilla with questions at 470-2045. Co-hostess is Ann Schmitz. Free babysitting is available if reserved at least a week ahead of the meeting. Need Time and Talent Hours?

Students Against Hunger Food and Fund Drive 
One in six Oklahomans struggles with hunger every day. We need your help to raise food and fund donations from October 23rd to November 3 as part of the Students Against Hunger Food and Fund Drive. Overall, the goal of the Students Against Hunger Food and Fund Drive is to raise enough food and funds to provide over 450,000 meals for hungry Oklahomans. Together, we can solve hunger.
