PRAYER REQUESTS 
Please pray for healing of Francisco Pena, brother of CSSE Pre K-4 teaching assistant Mrs. Imelda Aleman, who was diagnosed with Leukemia and is undergoing chemo therapy. We pray for the strength for his family during this difficult time.

For the success of our capital campaign - One Church, Growing Together.  May we give generously in support of the continued growth of our church and school 
So we can continue God's call to evangelize people of all ages 
Through spiritual education and formation. Let us pray to the Lord.

Flynn O'Hara Uniform Fitting Event
Kids never seem to stop growing! Come by the school on Tuesday, November 19th between 1-5pm for our on-site Uniform Measuring Day and make sure your kids have everything they need in the correct size. The girls and boys flyers contain event information as well as uniform requirements and pricing.

Thanksgiving Lunch with Your Child
Please plan on joining us for our annual Thanksgiving Lunch
On November 20th.  A flyer/reservation will be coming home Friday November 8th.
With all the information you will need to know to sign up. The school cafeteria staff is looking forward to serving you! Forms are due Friday, Nov 15.

The cafeteria needs 4 volunteers to help serve for each lunch period at Thanksgiving lunch on Wednesday the 20th. Shifts are only 30 minutes, so consider volunteering for a shift before or after lunch with your student. Sign up at the link below. Thank you!

The Book Fair is Here! 

CSSE's Scholastic Book Fair is Saturday, Nov. 16th through Friday, Nov. 22nd.  Open 9am-12pm Sat. The 16th. Open all day Mon-Thursday (half an hour before school begins until 45 min after dismissal). Closes at noon Friday the 22nd. 
Shop the online book fair and set up e-wallets to give your kids a cash-free shopping allowance! It's simple: Use your credit card to assign an allowance to your child, volunteers can look up your child's name and deduct purchases from the allowance. Whatever isn't used goes back on your credit card! 

Circle of Grace
During the week of November 18th-22nd, at your child’s regular religious education time, the Circle of Grace curriculum will be taught.  The aim of this program is to teach children how to be safe, protect themselves, and communicate any potential danger.  In the Church’s desire to help keep your children safe, the Archdiocese of  Oklahoma City requires that all children and young people participating in religious education in any parish or Catholic school in the Archdiocese receive this instruction.  If you have any questions, concerns or would like to review the curriculum, please contact Mrs. Ison at [email protected]

Green Team Zero Waste Lunch Day - Friday, Nov. 22
In order to bring attention to everyday waste, Green Team is encouraging students to bring their lunch from home Nov. 22nd and to try to do so in a way that results in nothing being thrown in the trash.

• Instead of single serve chips or cookies in a plastic bag, pack sandwiches and snacks from family size containers in a smaller reusable container or bring whole fruit.
• Use reusable silverware and cloth napkins.
• Bring your own reusable drink bottles.
• Forego plastic straws.
• Try to pack right-size portions to eliminate food waste.
• Google "Waste Free Lunch" for more ideas.

Every student who brings a waste free lunch will have their name put into a drawing for a Zero Waste Lunch prize! We will do a drawing for each lunch period. Our hot lunch program will also try to reduce waste as much as possible on this day.

• December 10 - Blessing Bags / Homeless Helpers - To be completed during regularly scheduled youth group time - FOUR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!

Vocare Chalice at Mass

Afternoon Prayer
The Church is hosting a daily prayer every afternoon Monday-Friday in the church at 2:45 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. We invite you to come when you can. There will be different prayers every month and the month of August we will add a new prayer for the school.. Please join us!
