Thoughts and Prayers Please pray for Señora Connie Fox-Arrington, grandmother of
Trinity and Thomas Martin and our beloved CSSE Spanish teacher,
who is going through aggressive breast cancer treatment starting
this week. Please pray for CSSE alum Martin Horn, uncle of
Rebecca and Joseph Horn and son of parishioner Pat Horn, who
was badly injured in a surfing accident. If you would like to include

Uniform Reminders: As weather starts to get colder here are a few uniform reminders:
-These are the ONLY items that may be worn with the uniform
inside of the school:
• Navy or white cardigans
• Saint Eugene fleece jacket or fleece pull over (purchased from
Parker Uniform or Land’s End only)
• Plain navy sweatshirt or navy sweatshirt w/ St. Eugene logo
• Navy dry-fit pullover w/ St. Eugene (purchased through PTO)
- NOTE: The dry-fit pullover or sweat shirts may NOT be worn to
Mass. Cardigans, the Saint Eugene fleece jacket, or the Saint
Eugene fleece pullover may be worn to Mass.
- Only navy, white or black leggings may be worn. They must cover
the entire leg all the way to the sock line.
- No other jackets, hoodies, or sweatshirts may be worn inside the
school except for those described above.

Circle of Grace During the week of Nov. 16-20 during your child’s regular
religious education time, the Circle of Grace curriculum will be
taught. The aim of this program is to teach children how to be
safe, protect themselves, and communicate any potential
danger. In the Church’s desire to help keep your children safe,
the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City requires that all children and
young people participating in religious education in any parish
or Catholic school in the Archdiocese receive this instruction. If
you have any questions, concerns or would like to review the
curriculum, please contact Mr. Eaton.
Sacrament of Reconciliation Being Offered for Students Our school is very fortunate to have Father Christopher
Brashears offer his time so our students will have more
opportunities to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Below
are the dates that the different classes will be able to go. Please
discuss with your child the importance of receiving this
Sacrament and encourage them to take the opportunity to go
when it is offered for their class. Below are the times that each
grade level is scheduled. Confession will be offered every Friday
8:15-9:00.

Accelerated Reader November Challenge The AR reading incentive for November will be a Hot Cocoa
Party and a Christmas movie to be scheduled in December. It
will be the class with the most AR points per student (total
points divided by number of students). The class must have
100% participation. 100% participation for this month will be
every student must have the number of points that equals their
grade level. For example 1st grade- everyone must have 1 point,
2nd grade- everyone must have 2 points, etc. The top 20 middle
school students will be able to earn a hot cocoa party as well.
The last day to earn points is Nov. 30, so this means that they
can earn point on books they read over Thanksgiving break.

Bedlam Free Dress for from the 2017 Gala, you may wear your
Sooner or Cowboy gear to school today! Team Hats, jeans and

Nov. 10 - Spirit Day for All! Students can wear St. Eugene gear.
It’s also Veterans' Day, so they may also wear patriotic clothes!

Weekly St. Eugene Middle School Youth Group Meeting If you are in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade you are welcome to come
to the weekly middle school youth group meetings ANYTIME!
The meetings are each Tuesday that we are in school. Come from

Join Your Child for School Thanksgiving Lunch Happy Thanksgiving Parents! Tues, Nov. 14 will be our annual
Thanksgiving meal. We would be happy to see as many of you
there as would like to attend. However, you need to reserve your
meal and that meal must be paid for with your reservation.

Howdy Partners! Scholastic Book Fair Heading to Town! All For Books Coin Challenge October 30 - November 3 We are collecting money to purchase books from the Book Fair.
These books will be sent to a Catholic School damaged by
Hurricane Harvey. Scholastic will match our donations and send
books to their chosen charity.

Coins will be counted daily. The winning class will receive a
Free Dress Day on November 18!

Come Shop the St. Eugene Vendor and Craft Fair! You are cordially invited to the St. Eugene's Vendor and Craft
Fair, Sat, Nov. 11, from 10amto 3pm. Shop for a custom gift, or
treat yourself, choosing from among more than twenty vendors
and crafters, set up in Ross Hall. The youth group members will
offer food, drinks, and snacks for sale. All proceeds from the
event benefit St. Eugene Youth Group Outreach Ministries.
Need Time and Talent Hours? The Middle School Youth Group is ALWAYS in need of
volunteers to help with our weekly meetings. Come hang out
with our fantastic kids and earn time and talent hours at the
