Please pray for Joe McDonald, great grandfather of Jack and William Frame. Continue to pray for the healing and improved health of C. Greuel, grandfather of Elliott and Teddy Hattaway. For Señora Connie Fox-Arrington, grandmother of Trinity and Thomas Martin and our beloved CSSE Spanish teacher, who is going through aggressive breast cancer treatment. Please pray for the repose of the soul of St. Eugene parishioner Jim Blanchard and for the Blanchard family.
Prayer for Intercession from Fr. Stanley Rother
O faithful shepherd, Blessed Stanley Rother, as priest and missionary, you tilled the soil with your hand and invited Christ Jesus to till the soil of your soul. You became a sign of the love of Christ the Good Shepherd for your People, and blessed their lives by your ministry. You stood firm and did not run from danger, bringing glory to God and His Church in your martyrdom. Blessed Stanley, obtain from the heart of Jesus healing and full recovery for those for whom we pray, and pray for me, that I too may be a sign of Christ’s love among His people. Teach me to faithfully till the soil of this life in the reality given to me by our Father, unafraid to stay with those God has given me, no matter the cost. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Parent/Godparent Seminar
Sunday, February 11, 2018, at 10:45 am in the School Library there will be a Parent/Godparent Seminar for children ages 4-17 who need to be Baptized. Enrollment for the children's Baptism classes will be at this time. Children do not have to attend this meeting. This will be the only seminar offered for parents and godparents of older children. 2nd Grade First Confession
First Confession for CSSE Grade 2 students in Mrs. Boaz and Mrs. Schmidt's classes will be Friday, February 9, 8:15am - 10:00am. Parents of 2nd graders are welcome to attend.
Middle School Volunteers Needed - Lenten Stations of the Cross
The Middle School will be doing Stations of the Cross on Friday Feb 23 at 6pm in the Church. We need 6 or 7 volunteers for this: 3 altar servers and 3 or 4 students to read the Stations. Please speak with Christi Benites if your child is available or text her at 405.206.5885.

Host Families Needed for Catholic Retreat Team Students and NET Date Change!
The National Evangelization Team (NET) is scheduled to be at St. Eugene Catholic School, March 6 (this is the new date!) to facilitate a Middle School Retreat for our students. We will need to provide housing and dinner that night by a host family. The team includes 6 males and 6 females. The team members travel with sleeping bags and are flexible. They can stay in host homes with a minimum of two team members of the same gender staying together. No one team member should ever be housed alone. We are looking for host families to house two or more of the team members. Host families will fulfill ALL of their Time and Talent obligations for this school year! Middle School Youth Group - No Meeting Feb 13
Due to Parent/Teacher Conferences, Youth Group will NOT meet on Tues, Feb. 13. We will resume our regularly scheduled meeting on Tues, Feb. 20 from 3:00 - 4:45. Prayer, discussion, social time and snacks provided. Any students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade always welcome!
Restaurant Night Out - February 22
Next month's Restaurant Night Out will be Thursday, February 22! This is just a one time change from the normal schedule, so March will be back to the second Tuesday of the month.
Box Tops - Get Those Scissors Ready!
It's time to cut out and save those Box Tops! Box Tops are on the boxes and packaging of many of the grocery items you buy every week! Each Box Top earns our school 10 cents in cash! A sheet for Box Tops will be sent home with your child. Please fill those up and turn them in!
Uptown Market Receipts for Education
The Receipts for Education program is now accepting Uptown Market receipts! Help our school earn FREE classroom equipment! Shop at Uptown Market and save your receipts, then send your collected receipts to school with your student or place them in the our “Fundraising Robot” located in the school lobby throughout the school year.

Kathryn was raised as an evangelical Protestant until she fell for a blue-eyed boy in uniform at Texas A&M. On the eve of their wedding, she converted to Catholicism and never looked back. Just when she had life figured out, Kathryn gave birth to her preemie and fifth child, Luke. His early entrance into the world led Kathryn to her knees and then her keyboard as she began documenting life in the neonatal intensive care unit, and beyond.
On her personal blog, teamwhitaker.org, she writes about her big family of six kids, carpool, Catholicism, prematurity, organizing projects, killer birthday parties, sanity checks and sneaking the occasional Dos Equis in her closet. She chats about nurturing your faith, cultivating a holy family and keeping your sanity through it all. She does it with candor, humor, and a heavy dose of Texas twang.
