Please pray for Joe McDonald, great grandfather of Jack and William Frame. Continue to pray for the healing and improved health of C. Greuel, grandfather of Elliott and Teddy Hattaway. For Señora Connie Fox-Arrington, grandmother of Trinity and Thomas Martin and our beloved CSSE Spanish teacher, as she continues to recover from aggressive breast cancer treatment.

SCHOOL NEWS
Good Friday Early Dismissal
Don't forget we are dismissing at 2:30 on Good Friday! We dismiss early on this day so families can have more time together and prepare for Easter. We encourage you to join us at 8:15am for the reading of the Passion in the Church. We will also have Stations of the Cross at 1:15pm.

Morning Parking Lot Reminders
Below are a few reminders about morning drop off to ensure the safety of all of our students.
- Please remember that all students in grades Preschool through Kindergarten must be walked in through the north Hefner lot doors into the gym.  This is the only way to enter the school for the this age level.
- If you have an older student in grades 1 through 8 and you choose to use the north Hefner parking lot, you still must walk in your child. Please do not let them walk across the parking lot alone or please do not drop them off at the door. All students using this entrance must be accompanied by an adult.

PTO Meeting - Fr. Wolf and Superintendent Diane Floyd to Attend
The PTO general meeting will be Tuesday, April 10 at 6 p.m. in Ross Hall. All parents of St Eugene students are invited to attend. Father Wolf and Diane Floyd, Archdiocese of Oklahoma City Catholic Schools Office Superintendent, will be present to speak about the search for the new principal. Parents in attendance will earn one hour towards Time and Talent hours and a free dress day for their children.

The PTO would also like to remind everyone as we face a leadership transition 
• We have a great parent community.
• We have a committed faculty and staff who love and care for our students.
• We get to pray for each other openly.
• Our children aren’t in crowded classrooms.

There are many, many wonderful attributes about St. Eugene. Let’s focus on the positive!

Library Used Book Sale
The Library will be having a Used Book Sale in May.  We are accepting donations of  gently used books.  If you have books you would like to donate, please send them to the library before April 20.  The money will be used for new library books.  Thank you!

Gala - Morning at Silver Wind Stables
What kid wouldn’t want to paint a pony? Students will get to take pony rides, visit a petting zoo, and finger paint a pony on the morning of Saturday, April 14th, 2018. $25/student. Must have purchased at the Gala or by April 6. Sign up on the Gala page HERE!

Meal Train for the Hutchison Family

St. EuGREEN Fest 2018: Save the Date + Shirt Orders + Time & Talent
Save the Date for the 2nd Annual St. EuGREEN Fest!
Sunday, April 22nd from 1-4pm
You are invited to a day of community service and celebration as St. Eugene Church and School come together to tend our earth. Bring garden tools, water bottles, work gloves, and a willing heart as we work on the NEW Parish Community Garden, plant flowers around our Marian gardens, fix up the playground, prune trees, and more. The school Green Team will also have upcycle crafts and activities for the younger kids, and host an eARTh Art Show. Anyone may bring a craft or art project to display, but the project must be made of materials rescued from the trash.

PTO Easter Egg Hunt This Sunday!
After 9:30 Mass on Easter Sunday (April 1st) we will keep the celebration going with an Easter Egg Hunt on the playground! The Easter Bunny will hopefully be making an appearance too!

Please help us by bringing already stuffed plastic eggs (with stickers or candy) to the church or school office by Tuesday, March 27th to ensure we have enough for all the children. If you would like to help with this event, please contact Kim Ward at 820-6100 or [email protected].

Stations of the Cross
Please join the Saint Eugene school community for this Lenten Season's final Stations of the Cross this Friday, March 30th. The 7th Grade will be serving.

TIME & TALENT OPPORTUNITIES
Athletic Commission - Committee Members Needed
There are several open positions for the Athletic Commission! This group makes it possible for our kids to play CGSAA sports and ensure the kids have all the proper equipment and jerseys they need for each team. Serving on this committee counts toward Time & Talent hours. 2018-2019 PTO Positions Open!

- Hospitality Co-Chair: Hospitality coordinates the teacher's luncheons, muffins with mom, donuts with dad, teacher appreciation week.
- Uniform Exchange: Organize and collect uniforms for the uniform exchange on Back to School Night.  
- New Parent Coordinator: Reach out to new parents to our school and introduce them to existing families. Talk to them about the mission of PTO, Fun Run, Gala, etc
- Library and School Supplies Coordinator: in charge of the monthly Library volunteer list; order school supplies for the following school year. 

Golf Tournament Swag Bag Donations Needed!
We are creating swag bags for the Annual Dad’s Club Golf Tournament, which will be held May 4 at the Lincoln Golf Course. We are in need of item donations to fill 85 bags. Ideas for items are:
- snacks (protein/granola bars, or something easy to eat on the course)
- bottles of water or small bottles of Gatorade
- hand sanitizer
- sunscreen
- golf balls
- golf tees
You are welcome to include a company logo with your items to promote your business!

Time and Talent Reminder
Just a reminder to check Renweb and input your time and talent hours on the system. Each family is required to complete 30 hours during the 2017-18 school year. Thank you again for your service and dedication to St. Eugene!

SUMMER PROGRAMS
CSSE Summer Camp - Enroll Today!
St. Eugene is excited to offer our annual Summer Camp! Students will enjoy fun activities like swimming, bowling, and more! Our summer program is for children 3 years of age (and potty trained) through 8th grade. Rates include am/pm snack & activities. All campers must provide their own lunch daily. The Summer camp 2018 enrollment packet and information is live on the St Eugene school website. St. Patricia’s Guild Meeting 
Women of the parish are invited to St. Patricia’s Guild Meeting! It will be held in the home of Pia O’Hare 3033 Willow Brook Rd.  It will be Thursday April 5th, 9:30am. Youth Group Food Bank Volunteer Day
Middle School Youth Group Families! Help us close out this school year by serving others. We have reserved a limited number of volunteer spots at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Come help sort and pack food on Wed. May 23 from 6:15 - 8:30. RSVP with Christi Benites.

Middle School LOCK IN!
Save the date parents of Middle Schoolers! St. John the Baptist has invited us to a lock in on Friday April 20 from 11pm - 6am. The lock in will be at Celebration Station.
