Continue to pray for the healing and improved health of C. Greuel, grandfather of Elliott and Teddy Hattaway. For Señora Connie Fox-Arrington, grandmother of Trinity and Thomas Martin and our beloved CSSE Spanish teacher, as she continues to recover from aggressive breast cancer treatment.

Prayer for Intercession from Fr. Stanley Rother
O faithful shepherd, Blessed Stanley Rother, as priest and missionary, you tilled the soil with your hand and invited Christ Jesus to till the soil of your soul. You became a sign of the love of Christ the Good Shepherd for your People, and blessed their lives by your ministry. You stood firm and did not run from danger, bringing glory to God and His Church in your martyrdom. Blessed Stanley, obtain from the heart of Jesus healing and full recovery for those for whom we pray, and pray for me, that I too may be a sign of Christ’s love among His people. Teach me to faithfully till the soil of this life in the reality given to me by our Father, unafraid to stay with those God has given me, no matter the cost. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Parking Lot Safety Reminders
Below are a few reminders about morning drop off to ensure the safety of all of our students.
- Please remember that all students in grades Preschool through Kindergarten must be walked in through the north Hefner lot doors into the gym. This is the only way to enter the school for the this age level.
- Please do not enter through the Ross Hall doors. This is not an entrance during morning drop off.
- Please make sure you keep your children with you as you cross the parking lot.
- If you have an older student in grades 1 through 8 and you choose to use the north Hefner parking lot, you still must walk in your child. Please do not let them walk across the parking lot alone or please do not drop them off at the door. All students using this entrance must be accompanied by an adult.

CSSE Summer Camp - Enroll Now!

SAC Principal Search Communications
The School Advisory Council (SAC) knows many families still have questions and helpful suggestions about the principal search and they want to hear from you! SAC has set up an email box for CSSE families to send their concerns, questions or suggestions in the principal search and transition. Please email [email protected].

Time & Talent Hours Due May 4!
Time & Talent hours are due May 4 for all families attending St. Eugene. The requirement is either 30 volunteer hours (20 for single parent families) or you may pay the equivalent at $10 an hour. All hours must be LOGGED IN RENWEB to receive credit.

Student Placement for 2018-19 School Year
Class division for grades with two or more homeroom teachers rests solely with the school. Individual written requests for student placement will be considered on an individual basis and only under unusual circumstances.  Written requests are due to the office by May 24th and will be considered and reviewed only if the student is fully enrolled for the 18-19 school year. 

Used Book Sale and Library Fines Due Date
Next week is the last week of library. We will close the library on Thursday to do our inventory. All books, fines and paying for lost books are due on Thursday, May 3. Failure to take care of these will result in not participating in Field Day.   
May 1-3 is also our used book sale. Students will have an opportunity to shop during class or may come by with parents before or after school. All books are $1. Please remind them of this on Monday.

SUMMER PROGRAMS
Register for the Archdiocese of OKC's Camp OLOG!
Register your child for an unforgettable week at Our Lady of Guadalupe (OLOG) Catholic Youth Camp. Our mission is to nurture positive Catholic values in young people and to provide campers a community of faith and fun in a safe environment. We promote the personal and spiritual growth in each young person by developing their prayer life, social skills, independence, and respect for others. There are crafts, hiking, swimming (in-ground pool), fishing, water sports, volleyball, canoeing, archery, scripture adventures, talent show, soccer, campfires, drama, and more! CONFIRMATION 2018-2019
PARENT MEETINGS FOR CANDIDATES YEAR 1
May 9—6:30—8:00 PM in English
May 13—1:45—3:15 PM in Spanish
May 16—6:30—8:00 PM in Spanish
May 20—6:15—7:45 PM in English

Who should attend?
Parents of students who are currently in 8th Grade RE, School or Pre-Confirmation. If you are not currently enrolled in RE or school, you may not enroll in Confirmation. You must enroll in pre-Confirmation with the RE registration form.
Must we attend a parent meeting?
YES, if you want to enroll your child in Confirmation in Sept 2018.
When Do Confirmation classes meet?
YEAR 1—You can choose between Sunday, 3:30pm-5pm, Monday, 6:30pm-8pm, or Wednesday, 6:30pm-8pm.
Confirmation Year 1 begins with a weekend retreat, August 24-26th, 2018.
Classes fill on a first come/first serve basis and class size is limited. If you want to insure the day of the week you would like to attend, register early!

Attention CURRENT 5th GRADERS!
There will be a Come and See Middle School Youth Group meeting for next year's 6th graders on Tuesday May 15. This was so well received last year and everyone is looking forward to it again this year. Plan on picking up your 5th grader from the youth room at 4:45 that day. There will be food, snacks, and drinks along with prayer and social time.

Family Food Bank Volunteer Day 
Help us close out this school year by serving others. We have a limited number of volunteer spots reserved at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Youth Group Special Speaker - YouTube Sensation Kid Catholic!
We are so excited to announce a very special guest speaker at one of the final youth group meetings of this school year. Join us on Tuesday May 15 as we welcome You Tube sensation Kid Catholic!! If your child does not regularly attend our meetings and you plan on having them join us for this meeting, please let Christi Benites know as we want make sure we have enough snacks and seating for all of our guests. 

Calling ALL Middle School Students!
Youth Group will be in session each Tuesday until the end of the school year. All current 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are welcome to attend. Join us for prayer, adoration, praise and worship, pizza, snacks, drinks, and social time every Tuesday from 3:00 - 4:45. See you soon!
