SCHOOL NEWS 
Eagle Run Volunteer Meeting Next Week!
The 2019 Eagle Run is looking to volunteers to make this the best event ever!! We will be having a meeting Tuesday, August 27th at 5:00pm in the school library. Anyone wanting to help out is asked to come to this meeting. 
This is a great way to get all your Time and Talent hours at the beginning of the year too! If you have any questions, please contact Kim Ward (405)820-6100 or [email protected]. 

Eagle Run on August 30!
There’s still time to get your wristbands for the Eagle Run!
For Kids:
$18 burger meal wristband (games included)
$15 hot dog meal wristband (games included)
$10 wristband (games included, no meal)

For Adults:
$8 hamburger meal only
$5 hot dog meal only

We accept cash, check, or Venmo (csse-pto-19). Contact Kim Ward [email protected] with questions or if you would like to volunteer.

8th grade will be selling candy, sodas, Gatorade, CSSE pop sockets, trash bags, and koozies at the Eagle Run. All money raised goes to the cost of 8th grade graduation and Camp Classen!

PTO Outreach/Fundraising Officer
Are you looking to get more involved?? We are looking for a Community Outreach/Fundraising officer for the 2019-2020 PTO Board. The Community Outreach/Fundraising Chairperson overseas, organizes, and reports on fundraising opportunities for the school such as, but not limited to, restaurant night and Box Tops for Education. CLUBS AND ATHLETICS
Come Let Us Sing to the Lord! Psalm 150
Choir Invitation to All St. Eugene Students, Grades 3-8!
You are all invited to join the St. Eugene’s choir! We would love to have you join us in praising God with your beautiful voices at Mass on Thursday mornings. Practices will be held after school on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:15 and we will sing at Mass Thursday mornings and some Sundays and holidays.
Come to the music room Wednesdays after school if you are interested in joining. We will be walking down to the church together for our rehearsal. Parents will pick up children in the church at 4:15. On Thursday mornings, bring your child to the gym by 7:40 a.m. They will be picked up at from the gym at 7:45 by a parent or teacher and will be walked down to the church together.
We are looking forward to a wonderful year with you!

ST. EUGENE PARISH NEWS 

Calling All Middle Schoolers!
Did you know...? The middle school youth group meets in the parish youth room (next to the Kindergarten rooms, Greystone entrance) on Tuesdays from 2pm - 3:45pm. All are welcome on their specified grade meeting days.
Here's our September calendar for the middle school youth group meetings. Be on the lookout for an email requesting volunteer helpers. Our weekly meetings can't happen without our parent volunteers! Looking forward to another great year of faith sharing and fellowship with the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders of St. Eugene. 
Sept. 3 - 6th grade only
Sept. 10 - 7th grade only
Sept. 17 - 8th grade only
Sept. 24 - 6th, 7th, and 8th grades combined 


Vocare Chalice at Mass
We need more families to take the Vocare Chalice home for a week and pray for Vocations. We especially need people after Saturday and Sunday 5:00 pm Masses.  If interested or have questions, please email Susan Givens at [email protected] or call her at 751-7115.

Afternoon Prayer
The Church is hosting a daily prayer every afternoon Monday-Thursday in the church at 2:45 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. We invite you to come when you can. There will be different prayers every month and the month of August we will add a new prayer for the school.. Please join us!
