CSSE Family Spirit Week for May 10 - May 15: Get Moving St. Eugene!
The menu for "Get Moving, St. Eugene!” will go out via ClassTag on Friday. Since we won't get to have our field day, this is a way we can all make sure we are getting plenty of exercise AND think about moving on to a new school year! Please send your photos to [email protected] or upload to the CSSE Family Distance Spirit Album.
Memory Book for Mrs. Emerson
Current students, families, former students and colleagues are invited to send in memories and photos of Mrs. Emerson so we can put together a memory book as a retirement gift. We will happily accept videos, photos or written memories in this Google album or you may email to [email protected]
Fall Volleyball Registration
If your 4th-8th grade student is interested in playing fall volleyball, sign up now! The fall volleyball season is currently scheduled to start one week earlier than usual this year, which means games will be starting in August. Registration deadline is August 5, 2020, to allow times for the teams to form and start practice.
Fall volleyboy is open to 4th-8th grade boys and girls. The teams will be all boys or all girls, not co-ed. If there are not enough boys in a class to form a full team, we can combine with other schools with the same age.
If your student is interested, please sign up at this link. We will not be collecting the registration fee of $75.00 until school starts and we are certain that we can play.

The primary role of the SAC is to advise the principal and pastor in policymaking to guide our school community in fulfilling our mission. We especially need volunteers with marketing, education, finance, law or facilities backgrounds. To serve, you must be a practicing Catholic parishioner, 18 years or older. If you’re interested in serving the Catholic School of St. Eugene in this way, please send an email to [email protected] by 5pm Tuesday, May 12th introducing yourself and highlighting strengths, experience/expertise, and any aspects of the school you are passionate about. Serving on the SAC fulfills family Time and Talent for the school years served.

Social Media
Did you know you can view both our Instagram and school Facebook pages without joining either media platform? View our latest photos, videos and updates in your internet browser after dismissing the pushes to sign up. You won't be able to comment or react, but this is one way to get those extra slices of school family and church life. (If you try to view on a phone, you may have a harder time dismissing the push to sign up and download the apps). You can also see our Facebook feed here on the school site at https://steugeneschool.org/socialmedia.
Marian Consecration and May Crowning
On Saturday, May 9 at 5:00 PM, St. Eugene will host a Renewal of the Consecration of the US to the Blessed Virgin & a May Crowning in the back parking lot.
Everyone in the parish is invited to this bi-lingual celebration! We will pray together the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary followed by the Prayer of Consecration and May Crowning. The five Mysteries will be lead in either English or Spanish.
Ushers will direct the cars to park in one direction, facing the steps of the school. If you plan on attending, please make sure to arrive prior to 5 PM so that you are in place ready for the procession with the statue of the Blessed Virgin.
YOU ARE INVITED TO BRING FRESH CUT FLOWERS FROM YOUR GARDEN OR A SMALL BOUQUET TO PLACE IN A BASKET. Ushers will collect your flowers from your car window. They will also distribute rosaries to those who need them and handouts for the ceremony.
The worship aid will be available through a link on social media and this event will be lived streamed through the St. Eugene Church Facebook page.
Drive Through Blessings!
We want to invite the entire parish for a "drive through blessing" after Mass this Sunday. We have 2100 families, spread over five Masses, and this is a perfect opportunity to say hello to old friends, and introduce yourself to new ones!
Stay Connected with the Church!
Our church staff is doing such a great job trying to keep us connected! You can watch a livestream mass every weekday morning at 8:15 am on St. Eugene Church's Facebook page. Sunday morning mass is also streamed live at 9:30 am and 12:00 pm Sunday on the church YouTube page.
You may have also seen the videos from the church about our parish's financial challenges. If you are able, please make sure you are donating online via Faith Direct (best), or you may mail or drop off checks and cash at the church office.
