Last week, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) adjusted the framework for quarantine for primary exposure to COVID-19. The Archdiocesan Catholic schools office sent schools the updated guidelines for schools to begin implementing. The updated guidelines reduce the quarantine time only for those individuals who are quarantined due to primary exposure. SEE ATTACHED
As the numbers continue to rise across our city and state, it is critical that you inform the school immediately if your child or anyone in the household has been exposed to COVID-19 and/or is going to be taking a COVID-19 test or awaiting a test. These new guidelines will reduce the stress both students and teachers feel during the loss of in class instruction during quarantine.
The CSSE community is doing fairly well. We have no students or staff with COVID-19, and only 4 in quarantine due to exposure outside of the school. (knock on wood!!!) Please continue to pray for all in our community, city, state, and beyond. We are looking forward to this week with our full school on campus. We are also looking forward to our students actively participating in virtual school next week at grades 1st - 8th, while our PK and Kindergarten remain on campus for their final week of the semester.
