Boris Scott Connally was born and raised in Newnan, Ga. He served in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve from 1986-2000 and is a "Desert Storm" veteran. He currently serves as the associate pastor at Real Church in OKC, a post he has held since 2010.
He received his Bachelor of Music Education in 2008 and Master of Music (Jazz Studies Performance) in 2010 from the University of Central Oklahoma. He taught as an adjunct professor of music at Southwestern Christian University from 2010-2013 and has taught private lessons (saxophone, clarinet, and flute) since 1999.
Currently, he is a member of Culture Cinematic, The Mid-Del Jazz Orchestra and leads his own group: The BC Jazz Ensemble. Additionally, he has played with various groups and musicians in Oklahoma City, Edmond, and Tulsa: Dave and the Wavetones, Mother Fingers, Direct Connect, Matt Stansberry and The Romance, and his son’s group: The Spunk Experience.
