From my philosophy of education:
It is the innate response of every child to inquire, explore, and acquire knowledge about the world around them. They seek relevance in their surroundings, and it is through this process that interests bloom, passions ignite, and talents emerge. I believe that each person deserves to be encouraged to reach his or her fullest potential. Schools should be a place where every child develops ideas and talents beyond the basic curriculum. I believe in empowering us all to meet the needs and foster the development of the total child, to create thinkers and problem-solvers who will make extraordinary and distinguished contributions to the world.
