My name is Robyn Duginski and I have a degree in Special Education from the University of Oklahoma. After graduating from college, my husband and I lived in many different states due to his job in the oil business. I taught Special Education in public school in California, and through a private tutoring company in private schools and homeschool environments in Louisiana and Houston. We moved back to my home parish of St. Eugene 15 years ago, where I have enjoyed putting all three of my own children through The Catholic School of St. Eugene, and on through Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School. I truly believe in the value of a Catholic education, and I am passionate about implementing ways of serving children of all abilities within our parish Catholic School.
While our school is designed to educate students in a general education setting, sometimes students have specific needs, and specialized support is called for. The Care Team program at CSSE exists to assist teachers and families in supporting our students who need special services for success. Ranging from minimal to significant needs, students are admitted on an individual basis, based on an assessment and team evaluation and our ability to meet each student's needs. There are very limited spots for students who qualify for Care Team and there is a waitlist for certain grade levels. For questions about the Care Team, please email careteam@steugeneschool.
If at any time our educational team deems a child needs further support to be successful at CSSE, we may ask parents to engage in the Care Team process.
